P&T Knitwear
P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome James Beard award-winning author John Birdsall to celebrate the publication of his newest book, What Is Queer Food? — a testament to food’s essential link to modern queerness, traced from the early decades of the twentieth centurythrough the LGBTQ civil rights movement of post-Stonewall liberation and the devastation of AIDS, that reveals how, like fashion or pop music, cooking and eating have become a crucial language of LGBTQ+ identity.

Following the discussion will be a multi-course meal with dishes inspired by John's book. Each ticket includes a copy of John's most recent book. The event will conclude with a book signing. Copies of Taylor's new book, Playing in the Dirt, will be available for purchase on the night.
